Amy and Sam sat in a shitty hotel room playing cluedo. Sherlock had gone out with Castiel for a while and this was the only time they would get to play the game since Sherlock hated it so much.
There was a knock at the door and Sam frowned, looking at Amy over the board.
He stood from the bed were they had been sitting and made his way to the door, slipping a gun into his hand as he went.
He opened the door, to see Sherlock and Castiel. The latter of which leaning against the door frame with his hand still raised to knock
Sam frowned as he moved to let them in, not noticing they strange way they walked
"You both have a key to the door" he said
He didn’t get an answer though, as Cas stumbled forward and ran into the wall opposite the door with Sherlock almost tripping over Cas's feet as he walked past
Amy looked up from the bed at the two
"Are you okay?"
"Don’t ask stupid questions" Cas replied as he righted himself and began walking again, zigzagging towards one of the beds
"Are you drunk?" Sam asked incredulously
"No" Cas replied, taking a seat on the edge of the bed and smiling when Sherlock missed the bed completely and fell to the floor by Cas's feet
"Yes"' muttered Sherlock as he got to his hands and knees
"What happened?" Sam asked as he helped Sherlock to sit next to Cas. The bed was a double, but the angel and the man both sat shoulder to shoulder with no space between them. Or at least there was no space between them until Sherlock somehow lost his balance while sitting and fell back onto the bed
"We found a liquor store" Cas replied, looking at the completely plastered Sherlock, "When we drank it"
There was stunned silence for a second before they heard a deep noise. Sam was instantly alert, looking for the source of the noise he had never heard before.
His eyes locked on to Sherlock, who was quaking slightly as he lay on the bed.
"It was an experiment" he said as Castiel grinned dopily

Sherlock and Castiel walked down a slowly darkening street in silence before coming across a liquor store. They both stood in front of it, just looking through the glass at all the alcohol inside.
"The average person can withstand 0.5% alcohol in the blood before passing out and possibly dying" Sherlock said without looking at Castiel
"Dean can withstand 1.2" Castiel said, voice as monotone as ever
"Impressive" Sherlock murmured
"Bobby can withstand more"
"Very impressive"
They stood in silence again, neither of them finding it particularly awkward but it wasn’t exactly comfortable either
"How much can an angel consume?" Sherlock asked finally
The angel shifted his feet, glancing at Sherlock and then looking forwards again
"Dean doesn’t let me drink anymore. Not since Jo and Ellen both got drunk trying to beat me at shots"
"And how many shots did you take?"
"158"
Sherlock didn’t answer, only raising his eyebrows
"And you weren’t drunk yet?"
"No, but I had begun to feel something"
"Well, we could say that I was experimenting" Sherlock stated as he indicated to the shop in front of them. He was genially interested in how much liquor the angel could hold now, and he knew that if he didn’t figure it out now he would be adding up calculations for a month.
Nothing more was said as they walked into the shop and Sherlock grabbed a trolley, pushing it in front of him as they started down an isle
"What will we start with?" Sherlock asked Castiel, seeing as he would be the one to drink he figured Cas should have some input of what he was going to be drinking
"I don’t know. Dean usually buys the alcohol" Cas said, picking up a bottle full of blue liquid. He seemed to be at war with himself, but finally put it in the trolley
Sherlock raised an eyebrow at the angel, and Castiel looked back down at the bottle of blue
"I like the colour" he said simply before setting down the aisle again
"I believe it is your turn to choose a drink now" Castiel said
Sherlock did a quick sweep over the bottles he could see and picked up a clear liquid in a circular bottle and put it in the trolley.
The process continued until they had each chosen twelve bottles each, it was needless to say that the casher was surprised.
They walked out of the store, each juggling the bottles before they found a lone table and set them down and each took a chair
"Shall we begin?" Sherlock said, opening the first bottle.
Once all bottles were drunk and Sherlock had run a few tests they made their way back to the liquor store, this time buying twice as many drinks as before.
The process continued until half the store was devoid of alcohol and Castiel could still walk in a straight line.
The casher band them from buying anymore so they bribed a homeless person to go buy there drinks for them, thus drinking away the rest of the store.
"Okay how many fingers am I holding up?" Sherlock said
"Three" Castiel replied with the right amount.
"Walk in straight line"
Cas stumbled a bit, but managed to stay straight as he walked down the sidewalk.
When he came back to Sherlock he had a dumb smile on his face and was giggling slightly
"Hmm" mumbles Sherlock as he studied the angel
"Maybe it just takes a minute to kick in?" he asked himself while he looked around the street. He spotted a bar not too far away and pointed it out to Castiel
"Shall we?" he asked, "You might be able to hold more before passing out"
They made their way over and once inside took a stool each at the bar. Once the bartender had made his way over and given them the drinks Castiel looked to Sherlock
"How much can you consume?"
"Excuse me?" he answered, watching the angle down the six shots without even flinching
"How much alcohol can you drink?"
Sherlock turned away from Castiel slightly and didn’t answer.
This seemed to hurt the Cas as he poked Sherlock in the ribs
"I'm a light weight" he mumbled as he watched the bartender fill the six shots and walk away again
Cas just grinned as he pushed one shot towards Sherlock
"I bet you can't hold one" he slurred
Sherlock narrowed his eyes as Castiel as he downed the other five shots. He knew what Cas was trying to do and he wouldn't let it work. Though his pride hurt to do it, he pushed the shot back towards Cas.
Just as he had reached out for the shot Sherlock gave in and scooped it back up, downing it with a grimace.
"Bet you can't hold another"
"Bet I could"
"Nope"
"Yes!"
"No!"
"Bartender!"
