But what is sacrifice?
Blood, deals, rivers and soul selling.
Farewells, set points and big, red buttons.
Falling, goodbyes and trickery.
Now you know what sacrifice is.
Can you tell me what loss is?
Flames, unmarked graves, and cages.
Christmas, different dimensions and time wars.
Tombstones, long years and dusty flats.

This is the foul and terrifying story of men, women and lonely gods, clawing for survival and just wanting a place, somewhere to call home in someone else.
This is the story of abandoned and lost children, growing up sad and hurt.
